Programming:
- All product must be programmed into the specific SMT machine.
- Operator must be efficient at creating and maintaining product programs according to BOM and process optimization.
- All engineering changes completed during review period and be documented as per ISO9001/2015 process.
- All engineering changes conducted follow the standard procedure and have been filed.
SMT Component stock maintenance:
- Confirming the receiving of stock as per the kit allocated to Operator.
- All shortages to be reported to SMT Supervisor whom would then take full responsibility by communicating the relevant people.
- Accurate usage of allocated documentation as per ISO9001/2015 implementation.
- Component wastages weekly counts conducted.
SMT feeder Management:
- Zero incorrect component placements during the period.
- Tape and reel cast offs are removed and feeders kept neat and tidy.
- Feeders are always kept in the designated locations.
SMD Machine Operating:
- Effective and efficient operation of machine to achieve maximum of production schedule per month.
- Accurate of monitoring and reporting of machine performance.
- High quality stacking of ASSYSMD products maintaining at least 1% defect.
- Maintaining an extremely clean and tidy LABORATORY LOOK of the SMD area.
SMT production schedule Maintenance:
- Daily updating of production schedule relative to SMD production.
- Meeting of 100% of the monthly production schedule.
Machine Calibration:
- Assessing the effective functioning of the SMD machine and reporting any in-efficiencies to SMT Supervisor and Production Manager.
- Machines to be maintained at the highest levels of calibrated efficiency maintaining “optimized processes” LABORATORY EFFICEINCY.
SMD machine maintenance:
- Scheduling maintenance periods with SMT Supervisor every end of each month.
- Conducting monthly machine maintenance as per maintenance schedule and aligning with ISO9001/2015 requirements.
- Reporting to SMD Supervisor, Production Manager and Production Engineer on maintenance outcomes and recording outcomes, especially if there’s a concern.
Productivity:
- Meeting daily productivity and quality levels expected.
